I am exploring the world of Zentangle. I have never been artistic or crafty but the more I learn about Zentangle the more I learn I can express myself artistically. It is also a great way to relax after a stressful day. I love to hear from others in what they like in my tangles AND about what I can do better.

Challenge. Tiles
Knightsbridge and reticulated and river.
Kieko and roscoe. I did mess up a little on roscoe but I had fun playing with my new color pens.
Roscoe looks great! Just say you created a different variation of it! :0) Your new colors look great on the black paper. What did you buy? Nice job :0) Share humanity
Thank you all for the nice comments. I really enjoyed this challenge. I used Sakura Gelly Roll pens and I love the way they look on the black tiles. I also have been playing with some watercolor pencils but I am not real sure the best ways to use them. This weekend I hope to watch some videos and learn more about them.
Nice tiles. I have not tried Roscoe yet. Some are easier to get lost in than others. Isn't it fun to play with new "toys"/materials. I just got some Irojiten pencils and have had fun using them. I used them on my tile. There is a post on Tombow web page from Maria Browning about using colored pencils. I would guess that Derwent and Inktense also have some. Some one posted about an on line class at Derwent and when you were done you would get a set of pencils.
I find roscoe very hard to do - can't see any mess up! and the colour is great. like both your tiles
ReplyDeleteBoth are very pretty with nice colors.
ReplyDeleteThese are fun. I especially like the black tile. I haven't tried Roscoe yet but you've got me started.
